English Pronunciation Training

English Pronunciation Training is an excellent option for you if speaking English is part of your professional image. Our course, EXPERT PRONUNCIATION ™, is intended for English as Second Language students, who have mastered intermediate grammar and communication skills.

Students develop advanced skills in speech production through various methods of muscle memory techniques, tongue, mouth and facial positioning, rhythm and intonation exercises, as well as accent reduction.

Notes from the Pronunciation Teacher:

“The reality of speaking English is that when your pronunciation is poor, you are not considered proficient in English. This can seriously impact your business, where the nuance of English communication is very critical. This includes being respected and being taken more seriously because you sound more professional.

Students often tell me they have studied English for years but feel like they are only communicating on a functional level. It takes time, but they do learn how important specific areas of pronunciation change meaning. I often remind students that it is not necessarily what we are saying, but how we are saying something that has the largest effect.

I try to let students know that this pronunciation course is not about making your “R” sound better, although it will. This course is about communicating at a deeper level, so that not only the meaning is being transferred to the listener, but more importantly, your emotion and your intention.”
